This is my old friend Ruthie Sullivan on the left. She sells Maple Syrup and I sell Honey at the Rockport Farmer's Market, so we made a trade. I had it on top of some of Sten afKlintaberg's Anadama Bread made into French Toast the next day!

I had a great time at the Rockport Farmer's Market! People loved the Honey! It was my first time actually selling any of my honeys in a retail setting. Since my Apiary operation is relatively small and I only have limited artisan quantities, I usually just sell it to close friends and some Facebook acquaintances. I was surprised at how well received the honey was with very little advertisement. I guess people know a good thing when they see it. I brought Melissa's Mint Honey, Melissa's Lavender Honey, and Cape Ann Beach Rose Honey.  I will have more of the same next week. If you are worried about parking come early at 9am to shop, the parking is better and the selection is good.
